We Can Help With
Our new menopause consultations last up to 45 minutes and allow a comprehensive and detailed review of your menopause symptoms. We take a holistic approach to menopause care and will advise on all treatment options, from complimentary therapies to hormone replacement therapy as appropriate to your specific needs.
These appointments are open to all women who believe their symptoms are due to perimenopause with no age restrictions. This includes women currently undergoing treatment for, or with a history of cancer, including breast and other hormone related cancers.
These appointments can be used for women already established on HRT but who are struggling with symptoms or for women interested in starting testosterone therapy.
Following the appointment, you will get a detailed clinical letter outlining key points from the consultation and detailing your individualised treatment plan.

These are for women who’ve already had a new menopause consultation with us, this is used to review symptoms, treatment plans and tackle any ongoing symptoms or side effects.
Price: £140
Sometimes between consultations problems can arise with side effects, or bleeding, these can be managed in our standard 15 minute GP consultations.

To ensure a holistic understanding of your health, our experienced healthcare provider will conduct a thorough physical examination. This includes assessing your vital signs and addressing any immediate health concerns you may have.

These are for women who’ve already had a new women’s health consultation with us, this is used to review symptoms, treatment plans and tackle any ongoing issues.
Price: £80
Hormone blood tests are not routinely required unless on testosterone, but may be recommended if there is uncertainty about the cause of your symptoms or if your symptoms are not well controlled despite standard doses of HRT. The need of and cost of these will be discussed with you if appropriate at the time.
For testosterone, bloods are required prior to initiating treatment and for monitoring of treatment once commenced.

The Mirena Coil
The Mirena coil (IUS) has long been recognised as a highly effective method of contraception, as well as a treatment for heavy menstrual bleeding and certain gynaecological conditions.
We understand that convenience and accessibility are key factors for our patients. That’s why we’ve streamlined our coil fitting process to ensure a hassle-free experience. Initial consultations can be conducted over the telephone, providing a convenient way for patients to discuss their needs and preferences with Dr. Cusack. Following the consultation, appointments for coil fitting can be easily booked there and then or through our website, if preferred.

This initial consultation provides an opportunity for the GP to evaluate your suitability for the coil, offering personalized advice and guidance ahead of your fitting appointment.

Coil Fit Appointment
This consultation is for women who are having a coil fitted for the first or do not need a coil replacing before the new one can be fitted.
The appointment will last half an hour and our GP will talk you through every step of the process.

Coil Fit with Removal
This consultation is for women who require a coil removal, prior to their new coil being fitted.
The appointment will last 40 minutes and our GP will talk you through every step of the process.

Cervical Smear Testing
Cervical screening, commonly known as smear tests, is a crucial aspect of maintaining good health for women. Offered by See me GP, these screenings play a vital role in early detection and prevention of cervical cancer.
In the United Kingdom, women between the ages of 25 and 64 are routinely called for smear tests every three years, extending to every five years from the age of 50. These screenings aim to detect early changes in cervical cells that, if left untreated, could potentially develop into cancer.
