15 minute, 30 minute or 45 minute appointments are available with our GPs, who have a wealth of knowledge and experience, as well this they have specialist interests. Please book online or get in touch if you want to discuss who the best GP is to suit your needs.

Prescriptions and Medications

Private GP practices are only able to provide patients with private prescriptions.

Private prescriptions mean that you pay for the cost of the medication, rather than the NHS prescription fee. We cannot provide you with an NHS prescription.

There will be occasions where the cost of the medication is lower than that of a an NHS prescription, there may, however, be times where the cost is higher than that of the NHS prescription fee.

All pharmacies will accept private prescriptions and are able to dispense your medication, however, if you have any issues obtaining your medication then we will happily get in touch with the pharmacy for you.

We will be happy to arrange for your prescription to be sent to a pharmacy of your choice. We can also arrange for your prescription to be sent to your home address, via the post, or we can email the prescription to you directly if you prefer.

Clinical Tests

We use fully regulated laboratories to provide a wide range of clinical testing services. This also includes specialist services, such as allergy testing.

At SeeMeGP we are please to be able to offer a wide range of private laboratory tests, these include;

  • An extensive range of blood tests
  • Urine tests
  • Microbiology swabs
  • Sexual Health Screening

We want to make sure that our patients are having the most appropriate tests, therefore, you will need to arrange a GP appointment with a member of the team to discuss your requirements with a GP before any tests are carried out.


Diagnostic Testing and Referrals

See me GP are pleased to be able to offer in-house ECG’s to our patients.

At See me GP we are able to refer our patients for further testing if required, including diagnostic imaging, such as x-rays, ultrasound, CT and MRI scans.

We can also refer you for other diagnostic testing such as;
24-hour ECG monitoring, Ambulatory 24-hour blood pressure monitor, Hearing Tests, Cervical Screening, Spirometry, among others.

Referral to these services is included in the price of a 30-minute GP appointment.

As a private service we are unable to refer patient to NHS tertiary services, however, we will endeavour to contact your NHS GP to inform them of our findings and ensure that your care is taken over in a timely manner. Where a cancer diagnosis is suspected we can refer urgently to NHS services.

Vaccinations

We are able to offer our patient a wide range of vaccinations. Please inform us of your travels and allow up to 5 working days to arrange the required vaccines’.

We can offer vaccinations such as, HPV, Pneumococcal, Shingles, Meningitis B, Hepatitis B, Chickenpox, Influenza (dependent on seasons), as well as others you may require for travelling.

Medicals and Reports

At SeeMeGP we are able to a selection of medicals to our patients.

These include, Retirement, Well Woman, Well Man, Well Person and HGV/Taxi Medicals, Pre-employment Medicals.

We are also very happy to be able to support you with the completion of certain insurance and occupational health reports.

Corporate and Business Health

At SeeMeGP we recognise how critical the wellbeing and health of the staff in your organisation is, whether this is helping them with acute issues, or assisting them to proactively manage their own health and wellbeing.

We are able to offer a wide range of services to ensure the above.

These could include;

  • Face to face, on site at your business, or at our surgery, consultations.
  • Rapid treatment of acute issues.
  • Referrals to Specialists
  • Health talks – including men and women’s health, general health and wellbeing advice, how to build up a resilience to stress, improved sleep and more.
